LOCATION

By car

If you are arriving by car, take the A18 from the north (Messina) or from the south (Catania) and exit at the Taormina toll booth. Once off the motorway, follow the signs for the centre and you will soon arrive at the hotel along Via Dionisio I, number 2/A. On arrival, we suggest you leave your luggage at the hotel and we will show you the quickest route – 300 metres from the hotel – to reach the seven-level Porta Catania car park (charges may apply), available for visitors to Taormina. After parking your car and exiting the car park, a short walk of 200 metres will bring you to Piazza Duomo from where steps lead up to the hotel's garden gate, simply ring the bell and we'll open it for you. N.B.: Parking is not included in the hotel rates.

By plane

The nearest airport is Vincenzo Bellini – Fontanarossa Airport in Catania, 60 km (37 miles) from Taormina. If you arrive by plane you can take an Etna Trasporti bus to Taormina, please see the timetable at www.interbus.it. The bus will take you to Taormina's bus station, located outside the old town walls. We suggest you then take a taxi directly to the hotel (approx. cost €10,00). To reach the hotel by foot involves a 30 minute uphill walk. Alternatively, you can opt for a private transfer with our dependable taxi service (affordable rates) directly from the airport to the Continental Hotel. In which case, all you need to do is let us know and provide us with your flight details.

By train

If you arrive to Taormina by train, please be aware that the railway station is 3 km (2 miles) away from the town. We suggest you take the bus, please see the timetable at www.interbus.it, or take a taxi outside the station (approx. €15.00 for up to 4 people). Night-time supplement of €5.00. The bus will take you to Taormina's bus station, located outside the old town walls. We suggest you then take a taxi directly to the hotel (approx. cost €10,00). To reach the hotel by foot involves a 30 minute uphill walk.
