2010
Every year in Taormina
the most important cultural event of the island takes place, this
includes film festival, theatrical and dance performances and
concerts, all of these framed by the town's magnificent scenery and
its extraordinary Greek theatre. It also features works and artists
of international and national prominence and important art
exhibitions are frequently held. The events planned and held in the
months of july and august are varied and numerous in order to meet
everybody's requirements: performances by Greek and Roman
playwrights, modern drama, ballets, modern dance, operas, classical
music, jazz, Italian pop music and world music.
